Breastfeeding - The Gift That Keeps On Giving

If you are pregnant, I know you have so many decisions to make, so many things to consider as far as your new baby is concerned. I would like to talk to you about one of those decisions. Breastfeeding. As you think about how you plan on feeding your new baby, I hope you will strongly consider breastfeeding! I truly feel it is one of the most important things you can do for your infant! Furthermore, I say this after not having the easiest start with breastfeeding my son. I feel it is that important for you as a mother to do for your child.  However, I know that there can be situations that may keep you from breastfeeding your baby or reasons why you shouldn't breastfeed.  So if you don't/can't please don't beat yourself up about it.  I know you'll still be a great mother!

While I was pregnant, I decided that I would breastfeed, or at least, give it the “old college try”. I was a little nervous about it, but from all my research, I felt that it would be the best thing for my son. If you want to do some research yourself you can check out my squidoo lens Everything You Need To Know About Breastfeeding. Information is being added to it on a regular basis so check it out often!

In my next blog on this subject, I will share with you my personal experience with breastfeeding. I hope to hear from you! Enjoy life!!!
