On the Hallmark channel tonight, August 2, 2008, at 9 p.m. check out Murder 101:  The Locked Room Mystery. 

Movie description:  After finishing up a lecture, Criminology Professor Jonathan Maxwell and private investigator Mike Bryant visit a local new age book store to take part in a meditation circle – mostly because Mike is interested in Arielle, one of the employees who claims to have psychic abilities.  Once there, it turns out that the circle has been canceled, but Arielle tells them that Samuel, a renowned spiritual guru with many rich and famous followers, will be there to conduct a healing.

An interesting tidbit about this movie is that three generations of Van Dykes star in Murder 101:  The Locked Room Mystery.  Dick Van Dyke's second son Barry Van Dyke and Shane Van Dyke (Barry's son), Dick's grandson star along side each other.

I have always been fond of Dick Van Dyke, especially in Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  Dick Van Dyke is definitely an American icon.  If you like mystery movies and whodunits, watch Murder 101:  The Locked Room Mystery tonight on the Hallmark channel.
