Glassdoor is a new web site where you can see ratings, reviews and salaries for over 11,000 companies (and growing) - all for free.

Glass Door operates on the 'give-to-get' model; if you want to see a companies review - you give your present or former company review and then you will in turn be able to see other company reviews.  Same with salaries - you post your salary and in exchange you get to see other salaries.

The two great things about Glassdoor.com is that it is anonymous and free. 

So if you are in the market for a job and want to know what others are saying about a particular company or if their salaries are competitive, check out www.glassdoor.com.  It is still a relatively new site so more and more companies will be added.  And remember, it is anonymous so it may not be 100% accurate.  A disgruntled employee could write a negative review out of spite, etc.
