You know, it's about time for a kitchen makeover. Well, maybe not so much of a makeover as much as a kitchen refresh (unless my husband is feeling generous, hint hint). What I have in mind is a mosaic tile backsplash to revamp my kitchen.

I have been doing some research, and I have discovered the look that I think would be ideal. If you read my blog regularly, you know that I am a big fan of browns. There is something just natural about earth tones in a kitchen, and so I have decided on a copper mosaic wall tile backsplash to bring a little zing to my family's favorite room of the house.

Of course, adding a new complimentary wall color will be just the thing to revitalize the room, and bring out the nice colors in the natural copper. Now, to be sure, I also researched a variety of other styles, and I did like the clean look that glass tiles can give an area. But I am really sold on that natural copper color.

I can just picture it now. In fact, a new granite counter top would be just the finishing touch to make the room come together with its bold yet soothing new look. But I guess I had better stop here, before it does become a complete kitchen makeover.
